Miss Clarke: Week 31

Happy Days ahead big girl!

Happy Days ahead big girl!

How I Feel Physically: I have some level of pain 85% of the time, BUT I am really excited that I am going to the PT and don't feel discouraged about the pain feeling better through therapy and hopefully being much more tolerable after she has arrived! So..even though it sucks, there are many blessings as well! She is really healthy and active and it is so fun to feel her move!

How I Feel Mentally: I feel pretty good! Excited about all of the things to come and for her to be here soon! I am mentally exhausted from the pain I am in most of the time, but I deal with it pretty well I think . I am really excited that we keep checking things off of our to-do list before she gets here! We have a deadline, so we really have no choice haha

Happy of the week: There were so many happies this week! I had a fantastic time in IN with Logan's family and all of his nieces and nephews. I had a great check up with my midwife and everything is still going great and baby is healthy and currently head down. She is just baking away and doing what she needs to do. My midwife also put in a referral for me to go to a physical therapist for my rib pain! Thank goodness! So, I will be going next week for my first appointment. Got to go home to KY and spend the weekend with my favs, which is always a blessing. Not only that, but my family is just going above and beyond for this precious girl and I feel so loved! We had a unicorn themed baby shower, with all kinds of cute little unicorn things! If I was a better blogger, I would have taken cute pictures of it all haha...but I'm just not. I honestly just enjoy living in the moment and forget that it's even necessary. Oh yea, and it is always fun to see all of my favorite people who live in Maysville! We got to celebrate Elias' 2nd birthday and got to hang out with two more cute baby girls baby E and Baby L! Baby E is due one day after Clarke! Yay for girl baby besties! haha

Cravings: Nothing. I literally hate food. haha I feel like I am constantly forcing myself to eat because I am hungry, but something rarely sounds great. I just eat because I am growing a human haha

Things for Clarke: Good grief! With another baby shower this week, we are checking off essentials left and right! We got our monitor this week, our diaper pail, and all kinds of cute clothes, and we brought home a TON of stuff from moms house that she had been making to use in Clarke's nursery, which I can't wait to do a full blog on! We got a bouncer, and a ton of diapers, and we asked everyone to bring books with special notes in them for her to this baby shower, so there are so many awesome books! My cousin got me the coolest unicorn for the nursery! Andie made Clarke a unicorn stuffed animal that is absolutely precious! The coolest this by far though, was that my talented, beautiful little sister made a HUGE piece of art to match her nursery, which I will cherish forever.

The special work of art that is going above Clarke's crib by miss Bailey Boo! I literally got tears in my eyes before I even opened it! haha

Favorite Dinner: Honestly, this will sound goofy. Logan and I stopped at Chick-fil-a on our way back from IN on Tuesday and on our way to KY on Friday! They don't have it in MI, so I was extra excited to eat my grilled nuggets and fries with a lemonade! haha

Workouts: I decided at the beginning of the week that I was going to take this week pretty easy again and only workout every other day. I didn't enjoy doing this, and honestly I felt antsy, BUT I want my hip to heal and I don't want to put myself in unnecessary pain. I also knew I would have a busy weekend and I probably wouldn't have much energy to do much more than I was already going to be doing, and I was right! haha

Monday: OFF

Tuesday: 30 min night walk with the fam! It was 4th of July and we didn't get home until around 7:00 from IN, and we walked them while people were setting off fire works. Mia didn't enjoy the really loud ones...so we headed back a little earlier than we originally planned.

Terrible picture quality, but I love their glow collars for our night walks!

Wednesday: OFF (had OB check up!)

Thursday: Lower Body Circuit + 40 min afternoon walk + 45 min walk in PM with puppies and Sydney (on the phone)!

Friday: OFF

Saturday: 30 min walk in the heat of the day with the puppies and the KY fam! I was worn out after this one, it was too hot for this momma to be outside! haha

Sunday: OFF (baby shower!)

Thoughts of the week: It was a wonderful week full of happy moments. There was also a lot of traveling, so it felt hectic and was hard to get a lot done since I done since I didn't have a full work week. I can't complain though, seeing family is my favorite thing in the world, so life was really great and I felt so loved by all of the people in my life.

Weight Gain: I am at 23-24lb weight gain thus far! woo baby! haha My midwife said I am right on track for healthy weight gain (this is the first time she has even mentioned my weight), and showed me a chart. I right in the middle of what is healthy and right on track for a healthy amount of extra lbs! haha
